The Establishment Launched Catering & In-Home Dining Services
The Establishment today shared that its fine-dining services have expanded to include catering and in-home dining. The seafood restaurant, located at 28 Broad Street in downtown Charleston, said it wanted to expand their ability to serve multiple parties concurrently, including those that would rather be served in their homes. The catering and in-home dining service began in mid-June and currently serves several meals per week to clients from Isle of Palms to Folly Beach.
“We’ve hosted private dinners since we opened just over a year ago,” restaurant general manager Brad Mogan said. “We have been consistently doing multiple dinners every week, and we wanted to find a way to expand our abilities to capitalize on those multiple Friday and Saturday dinner requests. By serving one group in our private dining room and several groups in their own homes, we’re able to do just that.”
The menu for these events will be shaped by conversations with the restaurant’s executive chef, Matt Canter, and the events coordinator, Shane Diviney. Any client can fully customize a menu based upon their own palate or can choose from sample menus available on The Establishment Catering’s website.
The catering service also offers wine and spirits pairings to in-home dining guests. Customers will work directly with The Establishment’s sommelier, Andres Contreras, to pair wines with the menu that they’ve selected. They can choose to pair wines with dinner, or choose to have a stand-alone wine tasting, comparing wines from a region or particular producer.
