College of Charleston rising 6-foot-3 senior guard Grant Riller (Orlando, Fla.) has been invited to the prestigious Chris Paul CP3 Elite Guard Camp to be held on July 18-21 in Winston-Salem, N.C.
The two-time All-Colonial Athletic Association First Team selection is one of 20 college players, who will join the Houston Rockets NBA All-Staron the court to work with some of the top instructors in the game of basketball.
During his junior campaign in 2018-19, Riller averaged 21.9 points per game, which ranked No. 20 nationally and second-most among CAA scoring leaders. He recorded double figures in 28-of-33 games played for the Cougars including six 30+ point games.
One of the top returning guards in the country, Riller currently ranks seventh all-time in career scoring with 1,796 points and is the school record holder for most points scored in a single game (43 points) in the program’s NCAA Division I Era.
Last year’s CP3 Elite Guard Camp participants included Ja Morant of Murray State, who was drafted second overall by the Memphis Grizzlies in the 2019 NBA Draft. Other notable alumni of the camp include Stephen Curry, Harrison Barnes and Isaiah Thomas.
The three-day Elite Guard Camp is designed to show players what it takes to play at the highest level and how to prepare for the hurdles each face in college and at the next level of the game.
