IllVibeTheTribe to Host “FarmRaiser” Market Benefiting Fresh Future Farm

Fresh Future Farm recently launched a kickstarter to help buy the land they leased from the City of North Charleston in 2014. Owning the property is essential to ensuring the farm and grocery store survive long-term and are not displaced for other uses.

Fresh Future Farm not only is the main fresh food source within miles of the Chicora/Cherokee neighborhood, but they also provide camps to the children, teaches agriculture to the community, provide jobs to people of their community, and has been a hub for those in need.

“Fresh Future Farm is the solution people always speak about – a community garden, that helps people have a better option of living, teaches us better ways to cook, and creates a sense of community,” IllVibeTheTribe said in press release. “Losing this farm would be a devastating loss in this community. The ‘FarmRaiser’ brings together local artists, artisans, and chefs to set up shop inside of the Farm for a fun mix of food and festivities to help this farm stay where it needs to be.
