- The City of Folly Beach today announced it will begin restricting access to the island starting at 4 pm on Tuesday, September 3rd

- CARTA has suspended regular services, but will run a Hurricane Evacuation Peninsula Circulator from 8 am – 7 pm on Tuesday, Sept. 3
- The Charleston Battery and Memphis 901 FC have postponed their match scheduled for Monday, September 2nd. USL Championship officials are currently working with the teams to arrange a new date for the contest.

- Charleston County Public Library – All branches closed starting Tuesday
- Charleston RiverDogs – Canceled the final home game of the 2019 season scheduled for 2 pm on Monday, September 2nd
- All National Park Service sites in the Charleston area
- TriCounty Link has suspended operations
- The Charleston Art Gallery Association has postponed the Art Walk to 9/13
- Sewee Visitor and Environmental Education Center
- The NEDA Walk has been rescheduled to November 24th
- The AFFA Pride Family Picnic scheduled for Sunday has been postponed
