Freshfields Village to Host Annual Holiday Festival This Month

The weekend following Thanksgiving, November 29th – December 1st, Freshfields Village will welcome Santa Claus and host the annual Holiday Festival with a variety of family-friendly events. Retailers throughout the Village will also offer in-store promotions and events on Black Friday and throughout the weekend, featuring unique one-of-a-kind gifts and locally made goods.

Bring the whole family out for a photo with Santa in Santa’s Workshop at the Village. Kids will have the opportunity to send their wish list to the North Pole and all guests will receive one free photo print per family, courtesy of Freshfields Village. Santa will be available for photos on Friday, November 29th and Saturday, November 30th from 10 am to 6 pm, and on Sunday, December 1st from 1 pm to 6 pm. While pets are welcome throughout the weekend, Santa Paws Sunday offers pet owners an opportunity to capture free photo of their pet with Santa. Donations will be accepted on behalf of Charleston Animal Society.

On Saturday, November 30th from 11 am to 3 pm, kids of all ages can enjoy complimentary activities including face painting, balloon animals, inflatable games, holiday crafts, and a photo booth. Interactive kids’ band, Big Bang Boom, will perform throughout the festival and the St. Johns Fire Department will be on-site for families to tour vehicles and meet the firefighters. Holiday food and beverage treats will be available for purchase from a variety of local vendors.
