Thoroughbred Club

The Veuve Clicquot Flight | $49, 3 ounces each

What a fantastic way to pick your favorite Veuve Clicquot, classic non-vintage and delicious rosé or their tête de cuvée, also known as their very best offering.

1. Veuve Clicquot-Ponsardin, Brut

The classic “Yellow Label,” or the Champagne in which all others are to be judged.

2. Veuve Clicquot-Ponsardin, Rosé, Brut

Madame Clicquot created the rosé recipe that is used today, as well as many other techniques, which revolutionized the industry in the 1800s.

3. Veuve Clicquot-Ponsardin, La Grande Dame, Brut, 2008

To commemorate the bicentennial of the company’s origins, the La Grande Dame was created in homage to Madame Clicquot, known in her time as “la Grande Dame de la Champagne”. Blended from mostly Pinot Noir from some of Champagne’s top terroirs, La Grande Dame is always one of the very best wines.

Tête de Cuvée Flight | $75, 3 ounces each

Three great Champagne houses, three top cuvées, and three drastically different styles; what could be better?

1. Dom Ruinart, Blanc de Blancs, Brut, 2007

Known as a top wine from the oldest Champagne house, it’s made from 100% Chardonnay, which gives it a brightness and laser focus that always grabs your attention.

3. Krug, Grande Cuvée, Brut

Krug’s singular style comes from its blend of more than 120 wines coming from ten or more different vintages. Then, it’s aged another six years before its released to guarantee its high esteem by the best Champagne critics.
