The weekly national lifestyle podcast, Keep it Juicy!, is adding a Charleston-based episode once a month.

“The podcast has featured so many people throughout the country who know how to squeeze every drop of juice out of life,” podcast producer and host Helen Mitternight said. “I started to realize that Charleston – which tops the lists of best cities – seems to attract more than its share of ‘juicies’, so Charleston deserved its own episodes.”

The podcast’s third season starts February 5th and Keep it Juicy! has slated Charleston-based “juicies,” such as first lady Sandy Tecklenberg, Woodhouse Day Spa owner Kimberly Powell, and Carolyn Rivers, head of the Sophia Institute,  as well as others.

Previous Charleston guests have included culinary maven Nathalie Dupree and media “sexpert” Doree Lynn. National guests slated this season include South Pole trekker Chris Fagan, body positive advocate Bex Bedford, and energy worker Lisa Erickson.

The podcast features Mitternight, a former journalist and freelance writer, hosting half-hour weekly interviews with experts throughout the country, on relationships, sex, health, finance and lifestyle, as well as with people who are doing it right — “Juicies.”

The podcast can be found on iTunes and Spotify.
