Edmund’s Oast Exchange Announces March Events
On Saturday, March 21st, the Exchange will host the Two Fat Olives food truck at the shop from 5 pm to 8 pm. Two Fat Olives will be selling their homey Italian fare, and the shop will feature four different Italian wines by the glass. Glasses of featured wines will be available for $6 per glass, and bottles can be purchased to enjoy with your meal for no corkage fee.
On Monday, March 30th, the Exchange will have their Champagne 101 Class from 6 pm to 7 pm. Certified Sommelier Colin Leewill walk guests through the history of the Champagne region and the intricate process behind the magic in the bottle, and guests will taste through 4 wines – Cava to start for comparison, and then 3 different Champagnes from different subregions/grapes that will illustrate the journey. Tickets cost $30, and as always there is a 50% discount to those who work in the food and beverage industry.
