Charleston Stage will livestream a performance of its acclaimed 2016 production of The Seat of Justice this weekend.

The Seat of Justice tells the remarkable story of South Carolina’s and Charleston’s pivotal roles in the landmark 1954 Brown v. Board of Education Desegregation Ruling.

Tune in online this weekend for three full days of special free screenings of The Seat of Justice:

In 1947, a small group of parents in rural South Carolina set in motion a movement that would lead to the landmark Brown v. Board of Education Supreme Court decision.  Julian Wiles’s acclaimed play that chronicles this courageous journey and played to sold-out houses in 2004, returns to tell the story of the historic Briggs v. Elliott desegregation case, wherein a group of heroic citizens, young and old, took their turn in the Seat of Justice and changed the world.

Screenings will be available all day long. Click here for more info.
