On what would have been the final day of the 2020 High Water Festival, Shovels & Rope and AC Entertainment released a video of the local band performing “Save the World.”
In addition to the video, the festival released the following statement:
To Our Beloved High Water Community, We miss you so very much this weekend! While we’re disappointed to not be with you in person right now, we’re with you in spirit as we all navigate this troubled time. To mark the weekend of our would-be High Water Festival, we’d like to direct your attention to a list of organizations that are working on behalf of those most in need as well as local restaurants that are offering takeout during this time. This pandemic, like all things, too shall pass. And when it does, rest assured, we’re already working on what will undoubtedly be our most triumphant and celebratory year out on the Riverfront in 2021. It’ll be that much sweeter coming back from all of this, and we can’t wait to see you there. Until then, stay home, stay safe, and stay hopeful. We’re all doing the same.
With Endless Gratitude, Your High Water Team (AC Entertainment & Shovels and Rope)
