NBA Preseason Coming to North Chuck

The North Charleston Coliseum will be home to a NBA preseason again once again. The New Orleans Hornets and the Charlotte Bobcats will tip-off on October 11th at 7:30pm. 

When the teams play it will have been almost 3 years ago to the day that Lebron James and Shaquille O’Neal led the Cleveland Cavaliers into the Coliseum to play the Bobcats.

This year’s game will feature (pending injuries, trades, etc.):

-2012 National Player of the Year, NCAA Champion, 1st overall pick, and recent Olympic Gold Medalist Anthony Davis (Kentucky)

-2011 NCAA Tournament MOP, First Team All-American and National Champion Kemba Walker (UConn)

-NCAA Champion from Kentucky Michael Kidd-Gilchrist

-Former Duke stars Austin Rivers and Gerald Henderson

-Former UConn star, NCAA Champion, and 2005’s Sixth Man of the Year Ben Gordon

-UNC alum Brendan Haywood

-Indiana standout Eric Gordon

-LSU alum Tyrus Thomas

-Syracuse alum and NCAA Champion Hakim Warrick
