Patat Spot Closed…For Now

***UPDATE 10/20/12, 8:17 am*** The Charleston City Paper is reporting that Manny’s Mediterranean Cafe will be opening at the Patat Spot’s old location on George Street in November.

I’m sad to report that our friends at The Patat Spot have shut their doors on George Street. The friet & falafel restaurant announced the closing on their Facebook page back on September 29th. I am going to miss those delicious fries and their tasty dips (especially that Spicy Sriracha Sauce).

The only silver-lining to this story is that The Patat Crew is on the hunt for a new location. I’m keeping my fingers crossed that they find a new home as soon as possible. You can stay up-to-date on their progress via the aforementioned Facebook page.
