“Homeland” Taping on Yorktown This Week

The USS Yorktown is certainly busy this week. The Carrier Classic is Friday and now Live 5 News is reporting that a hit TV show is filming on the ship this week. Showtime’s “Homeland,” which stars Claire Danes, will be taping at some point, but exact details are not being released.

The Yorktown has taken many star-turns over the years with appearances in movies like “The Fighting Lady,” “Jet Carrier,” “Tora! Tora! Tora!,” and TV shows like “Get Smart,” “Ghost Hunters,” and “Army Wives.”
