Charleston Brewery District Hosts Inaugural Santa Brewcon on Saturday

On Saturday, December 11th, the Charleston Brewery District will host their inaugural Santa Brewcon, a holiday celebration that benefits Toys for Tots. The event runs from 1 pm to 9 pm.

Attendees are encouraged to dress in festive attire and jump on the Brewery District’s Beer Trolley for a day of brewery hopping and holiday festivities.
Here are the details and rules:
  1. DRESS UP – As Santa, an elf, in an ugly sweater, as a reindeer, or anything else festive
  2. You will receive a raffle ticket at each brewery you visit IF you are in festive attire
  3. Each brewery will have a Toys for Tots box set up for donations
  4. You will receive a raffle ticket for every toy you donate
    • 5 toys = 5 tickets
  5. There will be 10 winners, one chosen from each brewery’s collected raffle tickets
    • Each winner will receive a gift pack from that brewery, worth $50
    • For example: You donate 5 toys at Brewlab, you get 5 raffle tickets from Brewlab, Brewlab draws your name in their raffle, you win a $50 gift pack from Brewlab
  6. On Sunday, December 11th, event organizers will gather all of the tickets from all 10 breweries and draw one grand prize winner, who will win a gift pack from all 10 breweries

The Charleston Brewery District includes ten downtown businesses – Baker & Brewer, Brewlab, Cooper River Brewing Company, Edmund’s Oast Brewing Company, Fatty’s Beer Works, LO-FI Brewing, Munkle Brewing Co., Palmetto Brewing Co., Revelry Brewing Co., and Tradesman Brewing Company.
