Poetry Society of South Carolina to Host Poetry Showcase and Book Fair
The Poetry Society of South Carolina will host a Poetry Showcase and Book Fair, its first in-person event in almost two years, on Friday, December 10th, from 7 pm to 9 pm. The event will be held at the Charleston Library Society (164 King Street).
The Showcase will feature readings by Poetry Society poets, including Marjory Wentworth, Marcus Amaker, Miho Kinnas, Charles Watts, Tamara Miles, and Ann Herlong-Bodman.
Among the poets signing and selling their books at the Book Fair will be Charleston poet Linda Joy Walder, whose debut poetry collection, Running Naked in The Snow, was just published by Free Verse Press.
The event is FREE and open to the public. Attendees must wear masks and be fully vaccinated.
