The Beaufort Bonnet Company Unveils Limited-Time Sock Collaboration With Children-Founded Company, Are You Kidding Socks

The Beaufort Bonnet Company, a childrenswear brand specializing in classic apparel for kids of all ages, today announced an exclusive collaboration with Are You Kidding Socks, a company founded and run by teenage brothers Brandon and Sebastian Martinez. Underscoring the companies’ shared commitment to charitable giving, 15 percent of sales from the Are You Kidding x T.B.B.C. Have a Heart collaboration will benefit Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation, a national organization whose mission is to change the lives of children with cancer through funding impactful research, raising awareness, supporting families, and empowering everyone to help cure childhood cancer. The styles included in this collection are the Low Country Hound (pictured right) and the Hamptons Hot Pink & Palm Beach Pink Stripe with Lemons.

“As the leader of a brand whose main focus is children, it has been so fun teaming up with a children-founded company to create these adorable new socks,” said Markey Hutchinson, The Beaufort Bonnet Company’s founder and chief executive officer. “It has been especially rewarding collaborating with a brand that shares our core value of supporting those in need, and we are honored to join the Martinez brothers in giving back to Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation.”

Brandon and Sebastian Martinez started Are You Kidding Socks as an entrepreneurial venture in 2014 when they were just eight and six years old, respectively. The teenage brothers have since fulfilled their passion of designing and selling their own line of socks, while making a difference for others – one sock at a time.

Children can express their individual characteristics through colorful and entertaining designs on kids crazy socks, which lend a whimsical touch to their clothing.

“Using colorful and fun sock designs, we are able to run a successful business while also raising funds and awareness for important causes,” said Brandon. “We’ve so enjoyed this opportunity to partner with The Beaufort Bonnet Company to design a unique line of socks that we hope kids across the country will love, as we work to make an impact on childhood cancer patients.”

Since 2000, Alex’s Lemonade Stand has raised more than $200 million, which has funded more than 1,000 cutting-edge research projects at almost 150 institutions, along with creating a “Travel for Care” program, which helps to offset travel expenses for families who must travel to receive potentially lifesaving treatments for a child.
