Wild Food Dinner Series, a pop-up dining experience and community event that aims to further the concept of farm to table, will debut in Charleston on Thursday, April 21st at Mercantile & Mash. The event, being held in celebration of Earth Day in partnership with The Indigo Road Hospitality Group, will feature a five-course menu by award-winning Chefs Philip Speer and Dano Heinze.

There will be two seating options at 5:30 pm and 8 pm. Wild Food will present ingredients collected from Charleston area farmers, foragers, and fishermen, and invites those same purveyors to the table to dine and share their craft and inspiration. Guests may choose a meat-based or plant-based ticket, with the option to pair their dinner with wine or spirit-free beverages.

Tickets cost $250 and profits will go to Ben’s Friends and Feed the Need Charleston. Wild Food hopes to raise $10,000 through the dinner series for these organizations.

The Chef & Farmer duo behind Wild Food are Chef Philip Speer (Comedor) and Trisha Bates (Urban American Farmer). Based in Austin, TX, they’ve partnered on events such as the Badger Flame Beet Invasion, Soil Dinner, and Field Guide Festival.

Tickets are available for purchase online via this link.
