Candlefish Announces Partnership with Carrie Davis and Charleston Artist Collective
Specialty candle shop, Candlefish, announced that their next featured artist is Carrie Davis. In partnership with the Charleston Artist Collective, the new candle offering will feature Carrie’s signature “happy face” design and will highlight fragrance notes of rosewood, pink pepper, and tonka bean.
The limited-edition candle will be available for purchase starting on August 10th at Candlefish on King Street and the Charleston Artist Collective in Mount Pleasant. 100% of the profits from each candle purchased will be donated to the Charleston artist community.
In addition, from August 10th to 11th, Davis will be hand-painting a mural inspired by the collaboration on Candlefish’s King Street storefront to be showcased throughout the fall. The final product will be celebrated with an in-store event on Sunday, August 13th from 12 pm to 5 pm where locals are invited to meet the artist, enter giveaways and explore the shop.
