Charleston County Board of Elections Headquarters Relocates to New Building
The Charleston Board of Elections Headquarters is moving to a new location on August 7th. The new building is located at 4340 Corporate Road in North Charleston. The office, located just down the street from the original building, has bigger and improved office space, more parking, and more accessibility for residents who are updating or picking up voter registration cards and voting.
“Maintaining the integrity of the election process is always our top priority,” said Board of Elections Director Isaac Cramer. “This new and improved space will allow us to better serve our residents. It includes more space for voters to cast ballots, rooms onsite to train poll workers and staff, and is better equipped to continue to ensure the reliability and consistency of our election process.”
The new location will be open to the public at noon on Monday, August 7th. The current building located at 4367 Headquarters Road will remain open until the new building opens.
