Fetter Health Care Network Celebrates National Health Center Week

Fetter Health Care Network (Fetter), a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), announced it will be taking part in National Health Center Week, a national celebration for community health centers in the U.S. From August 6th through 12th, Fetter will host special celebrations honoring its patients, community members, staff and supporters at locations throughout the Lowcountry.

This week-long nationwide event is presented annually by the National Association of Community Health Centers and the Health Center Advocacy Network. This year’s theme, “The Roadmap to a Stronger America,” leads the public on a “virtual road trip across America” to highlight the services, missions, achievements and patient groups of U.S. health centers in the communities they serve.

“This event is about more than highlighting our nation’s hardworking facilities,” said Dr. Aretha Powers, CEO of Fetter. “National Health Center Week exists to celebrate the individuals – the providers, administration and patients – who are each integral in our network’s success. We are thrilled to once again unite our community to promote a healthier Lowcountry for all.”
