Charleston FRIENDS of the Library to Spotlight Local Authors on September 16th
Charleston FRIENDS of the Library (CFOL) is hosting a local author event with two panel discussions followed by a meet and greet book signing featuring a diverse group of local Charleston authors. The event will be held on Saturday, September 16th at the Wando Library (1400 Carolina Park Blvd.) in Mount Pleasant. All ticket proceeds will benefit CFOL fundraising for Charleston County Public Library (CCPL) programming.
This event will have two moderated panel discussions with local authors representing a range of genres. Each panel will be followed by an opportunity for attendees to meet the authors and purchase their books.
Here’s the schedule:
- Morning Session – 10:45 am to 12:45 pm: Emma Woodham (Romance), Dr. Roger Newman (Medical Thriller), Brian Livingston (Adventure), and Timothy Banks (Children’s Author/Illustrator)
- Afternoon Session – 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm: Paul Attaway (Drama/Murder Mystery), Rhonda McKnight ( Inspirational Romance), Kimberly Perry (Children’s), and Susan Beckham Zurenda (Fiction/Short Fiction)
“I’m very excited to meet and discuss craft with the other Charleston artists, meet fans, and support a wonderful organization like CFOL,” said local author Brian Livingston. “I’m very grateful to be included in the panel.”
