Downtown Street Closure for Paving Work

Charleston County today announced Murray Boulevard between King Street and East Battery Street will be closed for repaving Wednesday, April 6th through Friday, April 8th between 7 am and 6 pm.

Residents and visitors are being asked not to park on Murray Boulevard between King and East Battery during that time. Flaggers will be on site to safely direct traffic around the closure. All work is weather permitting.

This work is part of the 2021 Charleston Transportation Committee (CTC) resurfacing plan.
